Restrepo, Cradle of the Calima Culture
Restrepo, this municipality, located in the western mountain range (Cordillera Occidental), is characterized by beautiful mountain landscapes, with the Cuchillas de Calima ridges and the Chancos hills standing out. Small inter-Andean valleys such as Aguamona, Santa Rosa, and San Pablo are also found here. Its main economy is agriculture and livestock farming, with coffee and pineapple standing out.

Festival Cuna Calima
This is the international gathering of folkloric dances, where different countries, departments, and municipalities showcase part of their cultures through music, dance, artistic performances, and more. It has been celebrated every year since 2004. Fiestas Patronales a la Virgen del Carmen (Patron Saint Festival for the Virgin of Carmen): a religious celebration in which Catholics hold processions in honor of the patron saint, the Virgin of Carmen, held in the month of July.
