Eastern Region

An agricultural and industrial area east of the department, home to Palmira, the Villa de las Palmas and site of the region’s most important agro-industrial sugar mill, and Pradera, known for its sugarcane production and handmade sweets.

Listings in this region are concentrated in Palmira and its villages: Parque del Azúcar, the Comfandi Tablones recreation center, Puertas al Sol country hotel and, in Rozo, Tardes Caleñas, Siga La Vaca, El Fuerte and La Tinaja restaurant. Nirvana Natural Reserve lies between Palmira and Pradera, and El Oasis Holiday Center is in Pradera.
