Versalles, the Manger of the Valle

Versalles: Known as «Pesebre y paraíso de Colombia» (Manger and Paradise of Colombia) because of its main square and the blocks descending downhill, resembling a nativity manger, its economy is driven mainly by agriculture and livestock farming, including cold-climate fruits such as lulo, blackberry (mora), granadilla, and tree tomato (tomate de árbol), among others. The residents of this municipality are very active, taking part in a variety of activities involving people of all ages, including children, youth, adults, and the elderly

This municipality is known for its ecological trail, which attracts tourists who can enjoy nature, native species, and a variety of landscapes across the area, covering a 4-kilometer route. Visitors can also enjoy the fog that characterizes this municipality from the tourist lookout point.
