Yumbo: Industrial Capital of the Valle
Yumbo is one of the 42 municipalities that make up the department of Valle del Cauca. It is known as the industrial capital since there are more than 2,000 factories within its territory bordering Cali, and it is considered a fundamental part of Colombia’s industrial development, producing a large share of the country’s consumer goods.
This municipality is located north of Santiago de Cali, just 12 kilometers away, 10 minutes from the Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport, and 2 hours from the Port of Buenaventura.
