El Cerrito, Land of Paradise
El Cerrito, this municipality is known for its culture and for being a great tourist destination. Its name comes from an artificial hill created at the Hacienda de la Lomita, where the earth extracted from the tunnel running through several of the municipality’s old estates was piled up.
