About Acuaparque de la Caña Water Park

The Acuaparque de la Caña is the largest, most popular and most traditional recreational water park in Santiago de Cali and southwestern Colombia. Run by the Corporación para la Recreación Popular (CRP), this sprawling park of more than 150,000 square meters has for decades been the favorite meeting spot for millions of families from Valle del Cauca and visitors looking for sun, fun and water-based adrenaline at affordable prices.

Main Water Attractions

The Acuaparque offers infrastructure designed for all ages:

  • The Big Wave Pool: With capacity for hundreds of swimmers at once, it generates mechanical waves up to 1.80 meters high every hour, giving visitors the feel of a real ocean beach in the heart of Cali.
  • Extreme Slide Tower: Featuring three thrilling slide lines: the giant cone-shaped whirlpool slide, the free-fall kamikaze for the bravest, and the medium-speed winding tube slides.
  • Kids’ Pool and Tarzalandia: A safe, shallow area decorated with water figures, mushroom fountains, small slides and interactive games for babies and children under 8.
  • Semi-Olympic Pools: Designed for those who want to swim laps, exercise or enjoy a calmer dip away from the waves.

Mechanical Rides and Sports Areas

Beyond the water, the park has a small mechanical rides area for kids, synthetic and natural grass soccer fields, multi-use basketball and volleyball courts, a skating rink, and large shaded green areas ideal for relaxing in the Cali afternoon.
