Comfenalco Yanaconas Recreation and Holiday Center, Cali

Comfenalco Valle’s Yanaconas Hotel and Recreation Center is in the mountains about 30 minutes from downtown Cali, on the road to Cristo Rey, in the Farallones area, at 1,678 m above sea level. It has a heated pool, a nature trail, a camping area and a hotel. The day pass runs Wednesday to Sunday and public holidays, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; the hotel is open every day. It is a recreation center run by the Comfenalco Valle Delagente family compensation fund, with a mild climate and surrounded by forest. It is close to other attractions in western Cali, such as Cristo Rey, Andoke Butterfly Farm and Bichacue Yath.

• Heated pool: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for day-pass visitors; hotel guests can also use it from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

How to get there

From Cali, take the road up toward the Cristo Rey monument and the village of Pichindé; the center is at kilometer 11. The road is narrow and steep, so drive carefully.
