Vayjú Ecopark

Vayjú Ecopark is at kilometer 6 on the road to Salónica, in Riofrío (Valle del Cauca), about two hours from Cali and one hour from Buga. It offers a day pass with pools, cabins, camping and a hotel, plus kayaking, a zip line and horseback rides across the river. It is one of the attractions highlighted by the Riofrío town government. Many people also search for it as “Vaiju” or “Baiju Riofrío”.

The park combines nature and water: it has pools, trails and adventure activities, as well as overnight plans. Its packages and news are posted on its Instagram account, @vayju_ecoparque.

How to get to Vayjú

From Buga, take the road toward Mediacanoa and then the Mediacanoa–La Virginia road to Riofrío. In town, take the road to the village of Salónica; the ecopark is at kilometer 6 of that paved road. From Cali the trip takes about two hours.
